ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSealed bids for Construction of Pressure Pipe for Type 1 Effluent, Phase 1B, in Marble Falls, Texas, will be received by the City Secretary at the Marble Falls City Hall, 800 Third Street, Marble Falls, Texas 78654, until 10:00 o’clock am (local time) on Wednesday, the 27th day of February, 2013 and then at said place, publicly opened and read aloud.
The Instruction to Bidders, Technical Specifications, and Bid Form and Contract, Addenda(s) (if applicable) and the Contractor Statement regarding Debarment, Suspension and Ineligibility are on file to be examined, and will be available from the Development Services Building located at 801 Fourth St., Marble Falls, Texas. Hard copies of the plans set and bid packages may be obtained at the Development Services Building for a non-refundable fee of $100. Requests for hard copies require 24-hours notification prior to pick-up. Electronic copies may be obtained by requesting the plan set and bid package in person or over the phone (830.798.7095) for a nonrefundable fee of $25 (.pdf only). For this project, all bidders will be required to accept Addenda and other pertinent information by email, as well as provide written acknowledgement of Addenda as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. No questions or requests for additional information will be accepted after the addendum deadline of 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2013.
An optional pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 10:00 o’clock am at the Development Services Building located at 801 Fourth Street, Marble Falls, Texas. The City of Marble Falls reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids or to accept the one that in the judgment of the Council will be in the best interest of the City of Marble Falls.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
