DISASTER RELIEF FUNDS
PUBLIC HEARING
Burnet County will hold a public hearing at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in the courtroom located on the 2nd floor of the Burnet County Courthouse in regard to the submission of an application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for a Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Program/Disaster Relief Fund grant. The purpose of this hearing is to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss the citizen participation plan, amount of TxCDBG funding available and the proposed water system projects for Spicewood Beach Water System, located in Burnet County.
The County encourages citizens to participate in the development of this TxCDBG application and to make their views known at this public hearing. Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to Debbie M. Carter, Grant Administrator, at the Burnet County Courthouse, 220 S. Pierce Street, Burnet, TX, or call (512) 715-5229 or email grantadmin@burnetcountytexas.org. Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this meeting or who require auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact Jeanne Emerson, Commissioner’s Court Coordinator at (512) 715-5276 at least two days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
