Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District Notice of Permit Application

Central Texas Groundwater
Conservation District
Notice of Permit Application

Notice is hereby given that an application for a new well has been determined to be administratively complete. The Permit Application and this notice are in accordance with District Rule 3.66 New Non-exempt Wells Used for Domestic, Livestock or Poultry Purposes.

Specific Information
Applicant: Ricky & Ann Langley
717 N. Water St., Burnet, Texas 78611
Address of well location: 3000 FM 3509, Burnet, Texas 78611

The well will be drilled on a tract of land smaller than 10 acres that was platted after September 1, 2009. The proposed location of the well meets spacing requirement from the property lines as well as other registered or permitted well locations. A well drilled under this provision may not be equipped to produce more than 25,000 gallons of groundwater per 24-hour interval (17.36 gallons per minute) and will be used for Domestic, Livestock or Poultry Use.

Operating Permits issued pursuant to § 3.66 are issued with provisions that limit production generally to only the amount of water that can be used beneficially for the specified purpose of use, instead of limiting production authorization to an express annual production volume.
