A church and crisis network volunteers have extended a gesture of warmth during sub-freezing temperatures, forecast to last several days. Highland Lakes Crisis Network (HLCN) volunteers launched a temporary shelter on Sunday, Jan. 14, referred to as a Warming Center, at First United Methodist Church, 1101 Bluebonnet Dr. in Marble Falls.
