MFalls passes budget tax rate

Following a public hearing Sept. 19, the Marble Falls City Council passed a budget and tax rate for fiscal year 2023-34 with an emphasis on public safety and infrastructure projects. The proposed rate, nearly a couple of pennies lower, was unanimously approved at $0.54 per $100 property valuation. Last year’s rate was .5577.
