Northstar to take over Treaty Oak BankSeptember 27, 2012, 7:00 pm by Phil Schoch The branches of Treaty Oak Bank, four in Austin and one in Marble Falls, will all become part of Northstar Bank of Texas on Nov. 5, according a letter from Northstar CEO Tony R. Clark. The five locations will be closed Friday, Nov. 2, in preparation for the changeover. Northstar will be mailing all Treaty Oak customers a new debit card, as Treaty Oak cards will no longer be active starting Nov. 5. Northstar Bank branches are primarily located in the Dallas and Denton area. Reader CommentsCORRECTION: the 5 Treaty Oak Bank locations will be open for business as usual on Friday November 2nd. The Highlander mistakenly said the bank would be closed on Friday Nov 2. The merger with Northstar take place over the weekend. The bank will opened for business as Northstar Bank on Nov. 5. |
