She was born Oct. 5, 1918 to Charles Clifford Mitchel Sr. and Judia Alice Chapman in Bertram. She married T.M. "Sam” Daniel on June 27, 1936, and she worked at their construction business together with her as the bookkeeper for many years while maintaining her home as a loving homemaker and wife for TM and their children.
She said goodbye to TM, the love of her life on Nov. 20, 1994. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Howard Mitchel, Roy Mitchel and Clifford Mitchel Jr.; and sisters Velma Mitchel and Bertha Mitchel Sikes.
She is survived by sons Robert Daniel and his wife Dee of Seguin, and Jim Daniel of San Antonio; daughter Nancy Daniel Crawford and husband Dannie of Burnet; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at Bear Creek Cemetery in Bertram, with Pastor Barry Drake officiating.
