Levonne Julia Latham, 74, of Killeen passed away on Dec. 28 at her residence.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Llano Church of Christ with Minister David Hankins officiating.
Latham was born on Jan. 5, 1938 in San Antonio to Raymond Toller and Joena Marie (Lally) Samson. She married Eugene Noble on June 27, 1956 in Marion, Ohio. She graduated in 1965 with a degree in nursing.
She worked as an LVN until her retirement in 2008. She graduated from cosmetology school in 1972, and continued that profession until 2008. She married W.C. Lantham in 1968 and he preceded her in death in 1983. She was a lifetime member of the Llano Church of Christ. She loved her family, friends and her many beloved pets. She was a huge animal lover. She was an accomplished musician and could play thirteen instruments. She was also a published writer.
She is survived by daughter Brenda Armour of Killeen; grandson William Armour of Killeen; and great-grandson Connor Armour of Killeen.
Memorials can be made to the Llano Animal Shelter.
