She was born Feb 12, 1966 to Margaret Ann Mansell and Lester Anthony Smith in Burnet. Smith was a lifetime resident of the Hill Country and was a member of the Cowboy Church in Buchanan Dam. She enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke and playing her harmonica.
Survivors include her mother Margaret Vardell of Burnet; husband Eddie Arms of Kingsland; son Sammy Alvin Cordell, III of Llano; brother Carl Dewayne Smith of Buchanan Dam; and sister Carmen Melissa Smith of Burnet.
She was preceded in death by her father, and step-father Frank Wesley Vardell.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the Waldrope Hatfield Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Jan 3 at 11 a.m., at the Six Mile Cemetery in Llano with Pastor Ken Barington officiating.
