Carlton L. Kelley Oct. 12, 1954 ~ Dec. 31, 2012

Carlton Leon "CK” Kelley, 58, of Burnet, was called home to our Father on Dec. 31 in Kyle, Texas. He was born to Carl Lee and Wanda Jo (Ashby) Kelley on Oct. 12, 1954 in Artesia, N.M.
Kelley attended Burnet High School and was employed as an electrician in Houston. He gave us love, laughter and wisdom. He will echo in our memories and always be remembered as the one who gave so much and asked for so little.
He is survived by his mother Wanda and step-father Bill Grandaw; sons Nathan Lee and wife Jamie of Houston, and Justin Keith and wife Becky of Houston; granddaughter Cora Madelynn Kelley; sisters Dianna Lynn Hutcheson and Cheryl Regina Amos of Kingsland; nephews Michael Scott Sorrells, Gentry Lee and wife Nancy Jo Sorrells, Juan Antonio "Tony” Medina, and Kristopher Blaine Medina; uncles Preston and wife Darlene Kelley of Artesia, Kenneth and wife Sue Ashby of Hale Center, Texas, and Ralph Ashby of Burnet; aunts Mary E. Weyandt of Canton, Texas, Billie Wiederich of Oregon, Mary Wighham of Kansas, Sue Wood of Canyon, and Ruth and husband Alvis Byrd of Dallas.
Kelley was preceded in death by his father Carl Lee Kelley; grandparents Melvin D. and Sylvia Kelley, and Curtis L. and Bernice Ashby.
A graveside service will be held at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, 4219 Park Road 4 South in Burnet on Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. with John Darnell and Jimmy Chambers officiating. An online guest register may be signed at www.Putnamcares.com.
