Vote Now for Readers' Choice Awards

Readers of The Highlander, Burnet Bulletin and The Llano County Journal have until 5 p.m. Monday, January 7 to submit their ballots in the 14th annual Highland Lakes Newspapers Readers' Choice Awards.
Ballots are available in the current issues of each of the three newspapers.
They must be received by mail or brought to the offices of the newspapers at 304 Gateway Loop in Marble Falls, 220 S. Main in Burnet, or 507 Bessemer in Llano by the Monday deadline.
"As they have for more than a decade,  our readers have responded enthusiastically to this year's awards for those who provide exceptional business and services to our communities," said publisher and president Roy Bode. "But there's still time to vote for your favorites in the original Highland Lakes contest to recognize your favorites."
There's also still time to be eligible for a random drawing for a $50 prize given by each of the three papers to those who elect to complete a form printed on each ballot received in the final balloting. It's not necessary to complete the entry form to vote, however.
The winners will be recognized in a special supplement to the newspapers in February.
