Three on C’Shores staff resign

Three members of the Cottonwood Shores City administrative staff resigned Friday morning for reasons unknown.

Chief Financial Officer Vicki Reinhardt, Court Clerk Sonia Marroquin and Utility Clerk Kim Collier turned in their resignation and their keys to city hall before 10 a.m. Friday.

City Administrator Janet Taylor-Carusi said that she believes the staff resigned due to a recently approved change in mandatory work scheduling.

"In the recent meeting, council had adjusted holidays and had added some mandatory work weekends, and they (the staff) didn’t want to work mandatory weekends,” she said.
