Head-on collision sends two to hospital

February 06, 2013, 9:30 pm by Alexandria Randolph

A three-car accident on US 281 Wednesday sends two drivers to the hospital.

Marble Falls Police, Fire Rescue and EMS responded to a collision near on US 281 near Commerce St. at about 2:30 p.m. after a southbound driver veered into the northbound lane, said Marble Falls Police.

Mary Hudson, 68, of Buchanan Dam, was driving a 2008 BMW 535XI station-wagon when she veered across the turn lane and into oncoming traffic, police said. Hudson then sideswiped a 2008 Honda Odessey, driven by Megan Hansen. Hansen then veered right and off the roadway. Bryan Hibler, 32, of Marble Falls, was driving a 2006 Toyota Tacoma directly behind Hansen, and had no time to alter course before colliding with Hudson head-on, police said.
