No major injuries in pedestrian, vehicle accident
No major injuries were sustained in a vehicle on pedestrian accident in the Walmart parking lot Wednesday.

A woman was sent to Seton Highland Lakes Hospital with minor injuries after she was hit by a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot Wednesday night.

Marble Falls Police said the unidentified woman was hit while she was crossing the lane in between the Walmart store entrance and the rows of parked cars at 6:14 p.m. on Wednesday night. She was not near the pedestrian crossing, police said.

She was reportedly struck by a green Ford F150 single cab pick up driven by an unidentified man. The driver claimed that he had stopped at the intersection of the row and the through lane to pick up his brother who was exiting the Walmart store, police said.

The woman was conscious at the scene, and was transported by Marble Falls EMS to Seton Highland Lakes Hospital in Burnet.

Marble Falls Police, EMS and Horseshoe Bay Fire Department responded to the scene. Marble Falls police requested video footage of the parking lot from Walmart officials, but have not started an official investigation of the incident.

At this time there will be no charges pressed against the driver, police said.
