County judge to run again

There really has not been any doubt, but Burnet County Judge Donna Klaeger Saturday told some of her most loyal supporters she plans to run for re-election in 2014.

"I am going to run for county judge again next year,” Klaeger told representatives of 13 Lake Buchanan-area property owner associations at a joint meeting at the East Lake Buchanan Community Center.

If she follows through on her announced plans, Klaeger will be seeking her third four-year term.

After serving as county treasurer for eight years, Klaeger was first elected county judge in 2006 and re-elected in 2010.
