Heritage Festival and Chuck Wagon Cook Off

Schedule of Events

Thursday, noon – Wagons arrive and set up

Friday, morning – Wagons must be set up

10 a.m. – Wagon authenticity judging

Afternoon – Cook teams receive food supplies

6 p.m. – Host wagon dinner for VIPs and invited guests

8 p.m. – Music at the Badu House. No admission for an awesome evening of entertainment.

Saturday – Competing teams begin preparing some tasty chuck wagon fare.

All day – Heritage Festival / vendors / entertainment downtown around the square

10 a.m. – 1 p.m. – MC Tracy Pitcox of the Heart of Texas Country Music Association and the Llano Country Opry. Expect a few surprise guests.

Noon – Judges taste the chuck wagon fare. Public meals are also served.

3 p.m. – Announcement of the winners.

8 p.m. – Live music at the Badu House featuring Mike Blakely y Los Yahoos.

Sunday

8 a.m. – Cowboy church followed by free biscuits and gravy. Donations requested. Music provided by the fantastic Llano Bluegrass Band.
