A Burnet man has been charged with growing marijuana after Burnet County Special Operations Unit Investigators discovered 143 marijuana plants on his property.

John Watson of Burnet was arrested on charges of possession of between 4 ounces and 5 pounds of marijuana after investigators found just under 12 dozen marijuana plants in a greenhouse at Watson’s residence on 922 CR 330 in Burnet on Friday, Oct. 5, said Burnet Special Operations Unit Captain Dwight Hardin.
