Fatal collision on eve of Thanksgiving

One driver is dead and the other injured after a collision just after midnight on Thanksgiving Day.
The driver of a 2006 Chevrolet sedan and a 2009 GMC pickup collided west of Sandy Creek at 1971 East TX 71.
Texas DPS, Llano County Sheriff’s deputies, Marble Falls AirEvac and Horseshoe Bay Fire and EMS responded to the scene, said Sheriff Bill Blackburn.
Oscar Espinoza-Reyes, 28, of Del Valle, the driver of the sedan, was found dead on arrival. The driver of the pickup was Starflighted to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin.

The cause of the accident is unknown and names of the victims were not immediately available.
