Finally! A little rain

It wasn’t a drought buster, but Marble Falls got a taste of rainfall Monday evening when more than a half inch fell in the area.

The Lower Colorado River Authority reported gauges at Backbone Creek in Marble Falls showed 0.4 fell last night, while Hamilton Creek recorded 0.57 inches. The Flatrock Creek gauge showed 0.16 inches, Round Mountain received 0.35 inches, Llano received 0.41, and Sandy Harbor at Lake LBJ received 0.25 inches. All rain totals are as of Tuesday morning.
