Accident causes MF house fireJanuary 02, 2013, 9:00 pm by Alexandria Randolph
No one was hurt in a house fire at 92 E. Wildflower Drive in Marble Falls at 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday. According to Marble Falls Fire Chief and Fire Marshall Johnny Caraway, the fire may have been started by a seven-year-old boy who left a lighter on a bedspread in the back bedroom of the house. Caraway said the fire spread into the attic when it went out the window on the north side of the home and up through the roof. Firefighters had the fire under control by 5:19 p.m. "The fire is now contained and out of the attic,” Caraway said at the scene. "There is little to no damage.” According to Caraway, everyone in the family of four was
safely out of the house before the arrival of the emergency responders.
