A Marble Falls man turned himself in on Friday on charges of indecency with a child.

Preston Allen Bockman, 22, was booked into Burnet County jail after turning himself in to the Burnet County Sheriff’s office on Dec. 28.

Marble Falls Police put out a warrant for Bockman’s arrest after a five-year-old made an outcry at a school in Marble Falls.

"The incident may have occurred within the last several months,” said Marble Falls Police Sergeant Tom Dillard. "The child made an outcry at school, and the personnel did what they were supposed to do.”

Dillard said that the school staff reported the outcry to Child Protective Services, who then worked with Marble Falls Police through Alisa Rogers of the Burnet CPS office.

"CPS and Marble Falls PD did a joint investigation, and the Hill Country Child Advocacy Center conducted a forensic interview with the child,” Dillard said.
