Partymakers moves to Burnet

Partymakers in Marble Falls will spend a few more weeks on Mormon Mill before shipping all of its party goods, crafts and cake decorating materials to a new, larger facility in Burnet on TX 29.

Partymakers will spend one more day in Marble Falls on Saturday before they swap their location for a larger building on TX 29 in Burnet.

The business’ lease for their current building at 1405 Mormon Mill Road runs out and Partymakers owner Rosie O’Rourke said she is taking the opportunity to find a bigger location.

"We need a larger store we can afford,” O’Rourke said. "We tried to stay in Marble Falls, but we just couldn’t find a place like that here. We don’t want to lose our customer base in Marble Falls. I told them we’ll do our best to make it worth their trip up there.” The new store will be in the old Dollar General store in Burnet at 1102 Buchanan Drive, and it is scheduled to open for business on Monday.
