Bertram council trying to collect money from ESD

March 01, 2013, 11:00 am by Brenda Young

The City of Bertram is continuing its effort to collect between $20,000 and $25,000 they say the city is owed by the Burnet County Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 4.
City council members met with city attorney Mike Guevara behind closed doors at their Feb. 26 meeting to receive an update on Guevara’s attempts to negotiate a settlement.

While in open session, Guevara indicated he had made "some headway” in receiving a response from BCESD No. 4 officials, but he declined further comment.
