New signs planned for downtown M’Falls

The city’s downtown master plan is slowly becoming a reality. One of the first concepts to come to life will be a new signage system to better direct tourists to downtown Marble Falls’ public facilities, shopping and other amenities.
The project comes as part of a push to more effectively market the city’s assets to passersby on US 281.
"There’s just no way for traffic to know there is a businesses district a block away. It’s really a missed opportunity,” Director of Development Services Caleb Kraenzel told city council at a meeting last week.
He and a focus group of business owners and stakeholders have been collaborating on design elements for the signs he says will have a life of about 30 years.

the downtown business district without referencing specific businesses,
