Accident Round-up; Motorists injured in pair of MF collisions

First responders were stretched thin on Friday afternoon when two accidents occurred between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The first was a three car collision that occurred on US 281 near the railroad crossing north of town. A white Ford Ranger, a black Chevrolet 2500 and a green Mercury Grand Marquis were involved.
Marble Falls Firefighters said that all three drivers were transported. Two were reportedly transported to Seton Highland Lakes, and one, believed to be the driver of the Chevy, was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge.
Marble Falls Fire Rescue, Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department, Marble Falls EMS and Texas DPS all responded to the scene.
While first responders were on the scene of the first accident, dispatch alerted responders to a second, which occurred on RR 1431 about a half a mile west of the FM 1980 intersection.
Marble Falls Police said that this accident, which occurred
at about 3:45 p.m., involved a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a black Ford 350.
Sgt. Barry Greer said that Texas Troopers were still trying to determine the
exact cause of the accident, however, the driver of the motorcycle had been
transported to Seton Medical Center Williamson where he was in critical
