Congressman Mike Conaway announced he has completed the paperwork to file for re-election to the United States Congress.
"The Obama Administration has proven time and again that its policies hurt, not help, Americans,” Conaway said in a written statement. "With its rogue agencies like the IRS and Justice Department, the massive government takeover of healthcare – Obamacare – and the least transparent executive branch in modern history, Americans deserve to have strong conservative leaders in Congress.
"As the President continues to attack our personal liberties and Constitutional rights, I will continue to stand firm for the people of Central and West Texas.”
Congressman Mike Conaway represents 29 counties in Texas’ 11th congressional district, including the cities of Llano, Midland, Odessa and San Angelo.

Anyone currently in office will have to convince me of why they need to keep the job. Both parties have failed to operate the business of the American people. The two party system has gone to a two side system and I think we should move the career politicians out. We now have a crew that vote their own raises, healthcare, retirements while the county shuts down.
