Caraway given official fire chief roleNovember 29, 2012, 5:30 pm by Adam Troxtell
Johnny Caraway has been officially named Fire Chief for Marble Falls Fire Rescue after almost seven months serving as an interim. Caraway took over from Larry Wright, who retired as fire chief in April. At that time, the city had many other job openings to take care of and had to put off the process of appointing a new chief. City Manager Ralph Hendricks introduced Caraway as the fire chief during the Nov. 20 City Council Meeting. "I’m very happy,” Caraway said. "I hope I can serve the citizens well. That’s the most important thing to me.” For the full story, see Friday's Highlander. |
