Mustangs can't stop La Grange ground game

La Grange's quick pitch provided a couple of devastating blows Friday night and the tandem of Rodney Filmore and Bralon Hutchison combined for 393 yards rushing to hand Marble Falls a 49-23 loss in the season opener at Leopard Stadium.
Hutchison set the tone early with a 61-yard sprint down the right sideline on the game's second play and then later added an 89-yard run down the same sideline with just under three minutes left to put the game away.
Marble Falls trailed all night and had no answer for La Grange's ground game that was built around tackle Zachary Ledwik.
Marble Falls defense finally made a stand early in the fourth quarter at the La Grange 20 and forced a punt.
Marble Falls trailed 35-20 at that point and forced a punt.
Marble Falls got the ball at the La Grange 42 after the punt, but a holding penalty set the team back and they wound up settling for a 31-yard field goal from Alejandro Osornio to cut the margin to a dozen points.
Filmore, who had three touchdowns, raced 54 yards three plays later to push the lead to 42-23,
