Mary Ann Vann, 58, a lifetime resident of Llano, passed away at her home on Friday, Sept. 21. She was born on Dec. 30, 1953 to Lester Ray Nichols and Irene (Ellis) Nichols. Mary had been a waitress at the Burger Bar in Llano for many years. She was of the Baptist faith. She married David Vann on June 26, 2004 in Llano.
Mary enjoyed playing poker, slots, and many other games. She loved being around people.
She is survived by her husband, David Vann of Llano, daughter-in-law, Rhonda Wisdom of Llano, sons Ronnie and Tim Wisdom of Llano, step-daughter Heather Vann of Georgia, stepson Kenneth Bruce Matthews of Denton, Texas, sister Betty Lou Mabry of Houston, brothers Jerry Parton of Llano, Bobby Nichols of Houston, and Leroy Nichols of San Antonio, grandchildren Tyler, Trenton, Savannah, and Sierra Wisdom, step granddaughter Sarah Jane of Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Irene (Ellis) Nichols.
Visitation was held Monday, Sept. 24, in the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Chapel in Llano.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m. at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Chapel in Llano with Marvin Parton officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Llano City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Wisdom, Alvin Woodall, Melvin Porter, Jay Sarmiento, Ronnie Wisdom, and Tyler Wisdom.
