Donna Elice Hibbeler Tankersley, 55, of Marble Falls, died on Oct. 13.
Born Oct. 26, 1956 in Bellville, Texas, she graduated from Wallis High School. She moved to Marble Falls and worked for the Meadowlakes Country Club, Gould Inc. for 17 years, Beacon Electric, Mikes Floorcovering, Marble Falls ISD as a bus driver, Natures Finest Candles, and at Burnet County Corrections Office.
Her passions were horseback riding, fishing, arts and crafts, and being with her friends and family.
She is survived by husband Jay Newsom; daughter Wendy Tankersley and her fiancée Jeff Moore; son Quinton Quiroz; grandchildren Taylor and Tyler; brothers Rudy Hibbeler and wife Bonnie, Robbin Ward and wife Roberta, and Kenny Ward and wife Dina; sister D J Sommers and husband Augie; sister-in-law Margurite Ward; mother-in-law Janice Newsom Lorenz and husband Bud; brother-in-law Joey Newsom and wife Leah; nephews Trey, Nathan, Jason, and Nathan; and nieces Brittany, Macy Amanda, Sierra, Saavannah and Jamie.
She is preceded in death by mother Clara Mae Ward, father Rudolph Hibbeler, stepfather Jonnie
Ward, sister Carol Ward, nephew Lynn Mahaffey, brother Ronnie Ward, niece Brandy Ward and father-in-law Charles Newsom.
Donations can be mailed to the family at P O Box 276, Marble Falls, to the American Cancer Society, or to any hospice organization.
A memorial service will be held on Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. at Oxford Ranch Campground, 11380 S. TX

Donna, I am so sorry to see this. I wish I'd known you were ill. I know that you are safe in the arms of God now, and that Heaven is everything and more you ever could have wanted. My sympathies to all your family.
