Goldie B. Webb Jan. 31, 1915 ~ Oct. 24, 2012

Goldie B. Webb was born Jan. 31, 1915, in Gotebo, Okla., and died Oct. 24, at the Cleveland Health Care Center in Cleveland, Texas.
After returning to college and getting her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education, Webb was a schoolteacher for 20 years. She served schools in Kress and Idalou. After retirement in 1974, she and Wayne moved to the Silver Creek area at Lake Buchanan where they lived for 31 years. In 2004, they moved to Romayor, Texas.
Goldie faithfully attended, and was active in the Baptist Church all of her life.
She will be missed by her family, many, many friends and former students.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Wayne W. Webb, who she had married on Dec. 23, 1933.
She is survived by sons Gerald W. Webb of Romayor, and Clifford W. Webb of Palacios, Texas; grandson Mark W. Webb of Justin, Texas; granddaughters Julie C. Webb of Port Lavaca, Texas, and Cindy Hoffer of Graham, Wash.; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Graveside funeral services were officiated by her grandson
Mark at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27. Arrangements made by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Burnet. Condolences may be offered to www.clementswilcoxburnet.com.
