She married Eugene Collins on May 7, 1950. She was a member of Methodist Women’s Organization. Collins enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and helping others any way that she could. She was a beloved wife, a loving mother and grandmother and a great friend. She is survived by husband Eugene Collins of Meadowlakes; son-in-law Dwain Hastings of Panama; granddaughter Shannon Adell Hastings of Houston; four great-grandchildren; sister Johnnie Corley abd husband George; brothers Delton Ingram and wife Sherri, and William Ingram and wife Alda; brothers-in-law Ray Baungart and wife Nancy, and Charles Baungart and wife Phyllis; many nieces and nephews; a host of friends; and her faithful Boston Terrier, Fancy. Collins is preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, and her daughter Peggy Mae Hastings. Visitation was held Friday, Nov. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls. Funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with Rev. Ellen Ely and Rev. Jack Whyburn officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m. at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
