Adeline Chrane Oct. 29, 1920 ~ Nov. 19, 2012November 10, 2012, 9:00 am by Staff Reports
She married Robert Wright Chrane, her high school math teacher and coach, and celebrated 53 years of marriage before his death. She is survived by daughter-in-law Brenda of Abilene; sons Charles Chrane and wife Barbara of Granbury, Texas, Kenneth Chrane and wife Betty of Montrose, Colo., and Bob Chrane and wife Debby of Marble Falls; grandchildren David, Rachel, Kevin, Shawna, Marcie, Susan, Sarah and Paul; 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and brothers Frank Yarbrough of Anchorage, Alaska, and Robert Yarbrough of San Antonio. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert in 1991, son Daniel Lee Chrane in 2001, and sister June Baker. Her greatest joys in life were nature, sports, flowers, poetry, music, art, a beautiful network of friends and most of all, her family. She was an avid hunter, artist and bridge player, as well as an accomplished speaker and Bible student. Visitation was held Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls. Graveside services will be Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. at Jenkins Spring Cemetery, near Brownwood, Texas. Adeline had requested memorials to Lighthouse Hospice or to the hospice of your choice.
