A Corvette may have been totaled Tuesday when a Ford truck drove off the RR 1431 highway.

A Kingsland business owner said car versus building crashes are “not uncommon” after RR 1431 wreck Tuesday.

No one was injured, but a bright blue Chevrolet Corvette may have been totaled when a driver went off the road on RR 1431 Tuesday afternoon.

The Corvette was parked in the lot of Highland Lakes Vending at 4418 RR 1431 in Kingsland. Owner Carrie Eplen said the vehicle belonged to an employee, and that it’s not the first time an accident like this has happened.

“It happens quite frequently to everyone on this curb. It’s not unusual to come to work and have a disabled car in the parking lot,” she said.
