A golf tournament on Thursday will benefit a Kingsland businessman who is facing a life-saving medical procedure.

Stu Harris, owner of Stu’s Custom Metal, was recently diagnosed with liver cancer, and needs a liver transplant to save his life. A golf tournament hosted by Lighthouse Country Club in Kingsland will help support funding for his medical procedure.

The tournament will take place Thursday, July 10 at the club, and tee-off will be at 3 p.m.

The tournament is a four person scramble, and registration to participate is $65 per person.

Hole sponsorships are $300, and sponsors will have a sign with their name or company name at the hole. Lighthouse CC officials said there will also be door prizes, a putting contest, silent auction and dinner after the tournament.

To enter or donate auction items, call Rob at 325.388.6660 or Mary Ann at 512.755.4867.
