Horseshoe Bay citizens need to cut back 20% of their landscape irrigation, as crews work on repairs of a mechanical failure at one of the municipality’s plants, officials say.
City leaders sent the notice Aug. 16 with details about the issue.
“Due to a temporary mechanical issue with the city of Horseshoe Bay’s West water plant production capabilities, the city is asking that citizens assist in water conservation by voluntarily reducing the usage of irrigation,” city officials shared in a statement.
