The upcoming Marble Falls Summer Concert Series promises to entertain big crowds with an exciting set of popular, talented musicians. Officials say the entertainment value might be upstaged by the potential economic windfall.
Double Eagle Entertainment will promote the mostly-free admission series for the fourth year, beginning 7 p.m. Friday, June 7, continuing at 7 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 10, in Marble Falls at Johnson Park, 230 Ave. J.
The series is funded by hotel/motel occupancy (HOT) taxes, which are funds allocated for parks and recreation and contributions from private sponsors, Beierle says.
