Dear Editor;
A rock crushing quarry has been proposed for property off of Hoover Valley Rd. (FM 3509). If allowed to be built, we will have noise pollution from blasting and the crushing process. Dust will blow for miles affecting Inks Lake State Park, Camp Longhorn, Dela - ware Springs, the Burnet Municipal Airport, and the health of hundreds of res - idents, pets and livestock within miles of the plant. Besides air and noise pollution, massive water use and ground pollution will affect the water supply and the safety of drinking water.
The runoff will end up in Inks Lake.
Gravel trucks in huge numbers will crowd FM 3509, and Highways 281 and 29.
