The Marble Falls High School football team crushed Austin Crockett 56-0 in the season opener for both teams Aug. 30.
The Mustangs (1-0) were led to victory by junior quarterback Doak Timmerman, who scored five of the team's eight touchdowns.
“We got great offense and we shut them out," he said. "Great defense. We got guys in the field who know what they're doing, can play well, and I just think we bond as a team and we're still working on where we should be."
