Crews demolish nostalgic Main Street bed & breakfast

When the Wilcox family made an investment in a Marble Falls property four years ago, they could not envision the heart-wrenching decision to tear it down. “We really prayed about it and evaluated it,” said Donna Wilcox, who purchased the property at 416 Main Street in the historic district.

When the Wilcox family made an investment in a Marble Falls property four years ago, they could not envision the heart-wrenching decision to tear it down.

“We really prayed about it and evaluated it,” said Donna Wilcox, who purchased the property at 416 Main Street in the historic district. “We weighed preserving a 1900s home and the investment.”

The house, with its curious Victorian-style architecture, most recently served as Bridget’s Bed and Breakfast.
