Last week I purchased a quilt at an estate sale in Burnet County on Texas 29, west of U.S. 281.

The quilt fits a single bed. It was beautifully made by a quilting group or a bunch of lady friends and signed by 24 women but not dated, as was often done.

The quilt appears to have been made for a little girl’s bed and is adorned with pink flowers and amazing needlework.
