Israel Presentation

First Baptist Church’s Child Development Center in Marble Falls will hold a fundraiser event, Little Boots & Big Blessings, Friday, Oct. 4, from 6-9 p.m. in the Worship Center. Ground School

The CAF Highland Lakes Squadron announces the L-17 Navion Ground School on Saturday, Sept.

28, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Burnet Municipal Airport/ Kate Craddock Field (KBMQ). RSVP required to both [email protected] and [email protected] for amount of supplies and lunches. Class is open to all who want education on the Navion. Cost per check flight is approximately $200. E-procedures are a memory item only. CAF 60-1 and all other CAF requirements must be met to fly the aircraft at Burnet unless you bring your own L-17. A donation for class supplies is appreciated but not required.

Church Garage Sale

The Annual Garage Sale at the First Methodist Church in Marble Falls is coming up Friday, Oct. 11, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale is being held in the church gymnasium at 105 Mission Hills Dr. in Marble Falls. HVAC Training

A Reinvest grant pays tuition for eligible adults, working apprentices and new applicants to the HVAC trade, installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration systems.

HVAC 2 classes are from Jan. 8, 2025. to April 30, 2025, plus three hours of self-study each week. The Workforce Network Inc Training Center is located at 2413 Commerce St. #19 in Marble Falls. Sarah’s House Fundraiser

Sarah’s House, a home for single mothers and their children, will have first fundraiser at Wagon Springs Wine Room, 2424 CR 200, Saturday, Sept.

Fall Gala

Please join the Delta Phi Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International for their 2nd Annual Fall Gala Fundraiser, Thursday, Oct. 17, 5:30 p.m. at Cedar Skies in Log Country Cove. Enjoy dinner, dancing, beverages, raffle baskets, specialty raffles, games and live music by john Arthur martinez.

Apprentice training and career opportunities for plumbers at low or no cost offered by Workforce Network, Inc. 1016 Broadway, Marble Falls. Plumbing 1 and 2 Plumbers can earn credit for up to 1,000 on-the-job training hours toward licensing; employer sponsorship is required and job assistance is provided for new applicants.
