As the new fiscal year got underway, the first meeting of the Mar ble Falls City Council proceeded smoothly from start to finish. All seven members of the council attend - ed the first meeting of Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Oct. 1 in city hall at 800 Third Street, including Mayor Dave Rhodes, Mayor Pro-tem Craig Magerkurth and council members Karlee Cauble, Lauren Haltom, Griff Morris, Bryan Walker and Richard Westerman.
As part of its regular agenda, the council re - newed and expanded an existing development policy to allow the city to issue credits and other consideration to less- en the blow of impact fees incurred by devel -
opers of city capital im provement projects.
