Participating in the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s Youth Tour program is a decades-long tradition for Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC).

Since 1966, the cooperative has selected students to attend the trip of a lifetime in Washington, D.C. This year, PEC will select a group of high school students to represent the cooperative and join thousands of students from electric cooperatives across the U.S.

Those selected as PEC’s Youth Tour delegates will visit historical sites, meet elected officials, and create lifelong friendships.
