St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bay this weekend is launching its Building for Our Future Capital Campaign to fund a $4.5 million expansion that will add 4,700 square feet to the church facility and 90 parking places on its campus.

St. Paul’s campus at 201 Dalton Circle is located atop Thanksgiving Mountain overlooking Lake LBJ. In announcing the campaign, St. Paul’s pastor, Fr. Ruben Patino, C.S.P., said the goal of the project is “to enhance our worship space and provide for the future of the parish as we address the growing needs of increasing numbers of parishioners.”

From its beginnings 42 years ago as an interfaith chapel in a resort and retirement community, St. Paul’s has grown into a full-fledged Catholic parish.
