‘Taste Highland Lakes’ raises $10,000 for local school

The Kingsland/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center hosted its second annual "Taste Highland Lakes" festival on Sept. 28, and Kingsland Public Char- ter School benefited from the event’s success. Fri- day, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m.,

Missy Dean, principal of the Kingsland School, will accept a check for $10,000.

“We are proud members of the Kingsland Chamber and invested in serving this community. It is an honor to receive the proceeds from the Kingsland Chamber’s “Taste Highland Lakes’ to directly enhance our educational and food programs for K-12 stu- dents," said Dean.
