Marble Falls ISD’s VATRE: A Community-driven solution to budget deficits

As school districts across Texas face grow- ing financial challenges, Marble Falls Independent School District (MFISD) has taken a proactive approach to address its budget shortfalls. With rising operational costs, insuffi cient state funding, and the expiration of federal relief dollars, MFISD has called for a Voter-Approved Tax Rate Election (VATRE) on November 5, 2024.
