KMUD seek bids for new community concession stand

The Kingsland Mu- nicipal Utility District board is moving for- ward with its plan to build an additional concession stand to accommodate bigger crowds at local sports events.

During the Oct. 28 meeting at district headquarters, 100 Ingram St, the board decided to request bids for construction of another stand at the sports complex near the Kingsland Community Center, 3451 Rose Hill Drive.

“It will be an attractive building,” Director Ken Black said.
