DA focused on completing independent payroll probe

I got an email from the county attorney in August of 2023 (Aug. 2) that said there was a question about several employees’ pay records. He asked if I would do an investigation into that matter, so I agreed to do it. We did the investigation into those names – at least all but one of those names.

Found out that one of them had not been interviewed in that process, but the records had been reviewed.
