It is helpful to put this into prospective. Seven days ago – last Thursday (May 2) – the Colorado River at San Saba was flowing 47 cubic feet per second (cfs). Monday at the same measurement point on LCRA’s Hydromet system, the flow rate was 18,190 cfs.

The Llano River's flow also saw a large increase, although not as remarkable.
